VSPink Goodies

I got a text from VSPink about $5 totes.
By the time I got out of work and to the mall they were already out, though! Since I’d fully prepared myself to spend some money on Pink stuff in order to get the tote, I came home and got right online. After going through almost everything on the website, I found the perfect combination to obtain my free tote AND free shipping.
Pairs of Leggings
1 Mirrored Compact
1 Adorable Tote
And the fact that they arrived more than a week earlier than planned...
...I love them even more.

Sparkly Purse

I found this adorable purse on alloy.com and
after reading all the reviews and thinking it over for days
I finally decided that I had to have it.
The free shipping was an added bonus.
I love it.
I’ve only carried it once...
...but I’m sure I’ll get in the right mood to carry it for a while.
Definitely worth the $10.

$1 Line

Today was $1 Jimmy Johns day.
A coworker&I decided to head down the block to pick one up.
We got their 10 minutes before the door opened and there was already a line.
By the time we were able to get in, the lined went quite a few doorfronts down the street.
Apparently, the line had created quite the distraction, too, cause we got to see a Jeep rear-end a Honda while waiting.

Gameboy Spoils

Mr.U decided this weekend that he needed a Gameboy. Justification: so he could play Pokémon on breaks at the office. But, since he got to spoil himself with an expensive toy, I got the same amount of money to spoil myself. Unfortunately, I’m awful at spending money, so I bought a couple of clearance items and a smoothie and put the rest in my bank to spend later.

Cheapies Splurge

There’s a cute store about a block from my office called Incognito, so I treated myself to a pair of sunglasses when I got my paycheck the other day. Obviously, it wasn’t much a ‘splurge’ since they were $5 ‘cheapies,’ but they were still cute&necessary.

Starbucks Temptation

There's a Starbucks kitty-corner to my new office and I already know it’s gonna get dangerous - for my wallet, my growing caffeine addiction, and [potentially] my waistline if I let myself get fattyfatty drinks every day.
So far… I’ve been pretty good: one $5 “treat” the 1st day – then $2 Americanos (triple tall with 3 icecubes) for the rest. I really need to bring my coffee pot in, though. Save my pennies and make it as strong as my thumping, little heart desires.

Seasonal Spending

This season is so expensive. Too expensive. Not only do I need to pay rent January 1st, but I had to buy 10 $20 gifts, a good gift for Mr.U, and some crafty gifts for my girlfriends. This is way out of my normal spending habits – I’m potentially the most frugal girl I know… I don’t even own a debit card so that I have to actually go into the bank when I want to spend money. I’m putting my blinders on, though. I’m spending. I want to be a good gift giver and, unfortunately, I’ve got to fork over some cash to do so. Bite the bullet and get over it, girl. I keep telling myself. Tis the season. I’ll go back to my normal “saver mode” once the holidays have passed. One expense I definitely hadn’t planned on: a bridesmaid’s dress I won’t even be wearing till next September.
